Default B18b Question

I meet this guy at the carwash today with a integra, And he claims that he has a Built Ls motor.... He said that he has:

GSR Crank
GSR Rods
CTR Pistons
And some head work...

He said that he walks ons gsr's all day long thats modded... i just wanting to know is this even possable.... And would this destorke his motor?

Yes it would destroke, so I do not know why he would go through all that trouble to run a GSR crank and rods, unless he wants to rev relly high. But he could have just replaced the rod bolts and been fine.

As far as beating GSR's, I dont see why not. GSR's arent the fastest cars produced in the world.

but wount he still have problems riving hight with a stock valvetrain.....

yes, if it is stock.

II talked to the guy again to day... This is the Specs:

96 GSR Crank
96 GSR Rods
JDM CTR Pistons

B20z Head

Ported
Crower Valvetrain..
Crower 404 Cams....
GSR Oil Pump
GSR T-Belt
GSR Water Pump

I think that this guy put way too much money into this motor for nothing... He says that he made 190whp on the Dyno @8200 RPM... I raced him in my 91 B18b1 powered teg and he pulled me pretty bad
