I am interested too. Maybe even a more powerful or capable one for a larger motor build! (not to be a thread jacker) Thanks

Pro Drive. $200. Beefier. Stronger. I'm fairly sure they all interchange. Not 100% But close.

you can't use the one from the h23 because it doesn't have the mounting points for the crank sensor

a factory oil pump should be fine for what you want to do

thank you thats the kind off info i was lookin for i found theis part numbers at majestic honda but couldnt see why it was so different guess i got to get one for a 5th gen but why is the 96 vtec pump close to the 5th gen pump in the number?

majestic honda part #'s on oil pumps

5th gen #31474

1996 4th gen h22 and h23 # 31472 and #31473

4th gen h22 #109834

4th gen h23 #109834

Probably because the 96 is OBD2 and would have the crank angle sensor on the pump as well...

Well, I don't know for sure but if the only difference is the spots to mount the crank sensor I don't see why not... Is it cheaper than a 5th gen oil pump?

when we rebuilt our race h22a4 block, we bought the oil pump gear inside that entire casing.. i believe it was 70-80 bucks.. been making 600whp with no problems on the oil pump
