I just installed an obd0 b16a in a hatch, While replacing the thermostat i noticed that it was oem, and rated at 78celcius which is 172 farenheit. I replaced it with an oem thermostat and now the car runs 210 all the time. Just curious if anyone had acces to the factory specs for thermostats for these early model motors.

 

thats right when i took mine out it was oem and it had the same temp, most honda are that temp i bought one for a interga and it had the same temp stamped on it

 

I pulled mine from my ZC and replaced it with an OEM Replacement and I know run hotter them before too. I'm just waiting on my Jackson Racing 160deg to come in.
