13/16 and 15/16 master cylinder use same resevoir?
I'm doing some work on my brakes (89 CRX si), and was going to get a new 15/16 master cylinder from a 91 civic ex at autozone. Will the resevoir from my old 13/16 MC fit the new one? I couldn't find the answer searching the archives...
Thanks in advance!

I put my 15/16" on yesterday and used a Teg resevoir but the civic one looked like the bottem was the same
Your better off to use the Integra reservoir cause you don't want to be going a around a turn and suck all the fluid out and put air into the lines. You need the proper reservoir.
good advice, the Teg resevoir is alot bigger then the civic one but i dont think it could suck all that fluid out

Does anyone have problems running the larger <aster. i had a 88 Prelude Master on mine(15/16) and I had a really floating pedal. Upon hard slamming it felt great! But while waiting at a stop light or in a drive through the pedal would slowly drop to the floor. I've tried 2 different ones and got the same results. I have since gone back to my DX Master and all seams well, but I love the shorter pedal travel of a larger master.
Thanks for the info guys. I couldn't get my hands on a larger resevoir on a sunday, so for now I'm just going to use the old one. I'll pick up a larger one next trip to the junkyard.
Did all of the cars that came with the 15/16 MC have a larger resevoir? In other words, is it the same resevoir on the 89 accord, 88 prelude, 91 civic ex, and integra?

That could be an indication of a leaking brake line / cylinder (rear drums?) or a leaking caliper piston.

Yes.
Yes.
were you using used master cylinders?
i had the same problem and the master cylinder was bad. i replaced it with one from autozone and all is fine now. no pedal sinking now
