Default RSX ownz WRX

We went down to So Cal this weekend, so that my boy can look around at getting a better car than his previous one. I also had a WRX and hated it. I was looking into getting a new RSX or a used S2000, but instead I went with a bike again. Well here are some pics of his new ride and he should be joining these forums soon. let me know what you think.

Oh yeah on the first pic, they had ran earlier that day on a closed freeway, from a roll, and (both have same mods intake, exhaust) and the RSX pulled on the WRX from about 3rd gear on. Later that day i was driving the WRX and pulled up to a clean *** EP3 (silver with bronze wheels) with a greddy kit with FMIC and walked on his ***. But if we had a longer closed road than which we had the EP3 should of pulled on me.

Good choice, even though the WRX I thing is better in a lot of ways, the tranny problems pll have with WRX's is horrible(racing them off the line)

Not just tranny problems ppl are having. The cars just arent put together too well. Pre cats, tranny, ac, turbo. those are some of the things i had replaced along with his.

Ok on mine.... Pre-turbo catalytic converter Failed and went into the turbo ruined the turbo and had to be replaced. I gernaded first gear. Tranny also grinded alot.

On my friends The pre cat failed and the O2 sensor had to be replaced. The A/C compressor went out on him (we live in 115 degree weather). 2 times. The tranny is always grinding into 4th and reverse.

Interior is really shitty quality. Sit in one and drive it around for a day and you'll know.

Dont get me wron it is an AWD turbo car and that is awsome. But if Subaru doesnt want to stand behind there products you as consumers shouldnt buy them.

Oh and not to mention Findlay Subaru SUCKS *****! from there service writers to the technicians to the operator who doesnt know how to take messages and relay them to the service ppl. If you stay in vegas and want a Subaru that bad Please DRIVE OUT OF STATE and get one in either California or Utah. Please do not buy from Findlay subaru.

i think that may be my next car.

the black one is my cousin's. the black one is the one my friend was driving around all weekend long before he got his own type s. I guess just to make sure he really wanted one. the only problem with that is, my cousin now wants a WRX because he was driving my friends WRX all weekend long.

I was going to get rid of my '00 hatch and get a '05 RSXS but instead i can across a good deal on a bike so i picked that up instead of a RSXS.

And if he would of traded his WRX for a base RSX i would of told him he just got F'ed in the A!

sorry man, but you and your friend must have got lemons, im a WRX enthusiast and ive been on WRX boards for about 3 years and havent heard of many people having as many problems like you and yer friend did. And of course the RSX is gonna walk the WRX, AWD is bad at higher speeds, not sure if you knew that. I personally would have traded the WRX in and got me an STi or a wagon. but on yer choice i guess.

hmm.... well, i have heard both sides of the story. yes if you do drive conservitively the car probably wont have too many problems. but a manufacturer cant build a high performance car and not stand behind it. and also i was on nasoac or something like that and they had a big thing about warrenty work being denied and sorts of that kind.

Hotwheels builds better quality cars than Subaru does. Always some poor sap asking if we carry stuff for his WRX, and then walking into the place next door to see how much labor is gonna be.

wow dude... seriously. you need to shut up. if yer complaining about subarus quality then why dont you get up off yer *** and build yer own car from scratch and make it better than subaru? you apparently dont know **** about subarus, go to a subaru board and look for as many problem threads you can. not many. yer gonna find more tranny problem threads b/c everyone knows the WRX tranny sucks *****, but if treated right and not ragged on 24/7, its gonna last you.
