I tried taking off my headlights and a bolt is stipped. Its not stripped from the top. All i can do is turn it and it goes no where. The clip is stripped am assuming. Does anyone have any ideas on how to take it off? One of my friend told me to split the nut and get a flat head and pry it off but how will that work when the metal clip on teh headlight is stripped? Any suggestions?

 

Try sticking a flat head screwdriver under the head of the bolt and pry it up as you are loosening the bolt with the socket (or whatever head it has). It's worked for me.
