Argh!! '98 R, White, Bird Shit problem!!! Anyone else???
Sorry if this is too off topic but does anyone else have bird **** problems with thier 97 or 98 Type R? actually, white car in general. Time after time my car get shitted on and I don't even park under a tree or poll or anything. I decided to go with a 98 R cause of the color white, thinking that it'll be easier to maintain and I don't really have to worry about the sun beating on it seeing how white reflects instead of absorb but damn, this bird **** issue is gettin' out of hand. I just might get a black car next time im in the market for a new car. Bah! anyone else have this problem?

What about the yellow snow cones?
Also I've seen a couple of ITR's and CW painted hondas that have discolored CW panels with dots of discolored white over the body. Could bird **** do that or only a chemical or eggs do that?

I've really not had too much of a problem at all. One did, however, land at the bottom of the spoiler, right where it meets the trunk. It was pretty tough trying to get it all out of that little space between the trunk and the spoiler.

As odd as I find this thread; I am kinda curious. I just spent 10 minutes in a clean it yourself carwash scrubbing 4000 miles of blood and bugs from my crosscountry roadtrip only to have a bird **** on the bumper barely an hour after. Not only did it **** on my car in a prompt manner but it would appear that it was a rather large bird with some serious intestinal issues.

That's what a quick detailer (either Meguiar's or someone else's) is good for. You can spray it on a specific spot without having to wash the entire car all over again.
