Stupid son of a motherless....
So yesterday after work I run over to the gym for a quick work out. Those of you who know me must certainly realize that I must go to the gym on a regular basis to have such an imposing physical presense. Anyway, I was in a bit of a rush, bouncing machine to machine between sets, etc. So I'm doing the machine for the lower back, and in my rush to get to the next machine quickly and get the hell out of there, I started getting off the machine before I finished my motion. Needless to say, my back is KILLING me right now. Leave it to me to $#*& up my back three days before the race weekend. It's better today already, and since it's just a muscle pull it shouldn't take long to recover, but it's really screwing up my plans - since I was supposed to do the front brakes and some painting and decal work tonight. Grrrr.

take some advil for the pain. it is an anti-inflammatory and will help to reduce the swelling. I am not a dr. but i am a fitness consultant and the director of a health club in baltimore! hope it helps.
It NEVER pays to workout in a hurry. Always move steadily and without any herky-jerkiness. Sorry to hear that your back hurts, but please next time take it a little slower and avoid injury. Peace.
