5th gen hesistation when starting
Hey guys, I'm getting some hesistation when starting my 5th gen. I've changed the spark plugs, spark plug wires, distributor cap and rotor, and just got an Optima Red Top.
Now it cranks on the first go every-time, but there is always hesitation whether its short or long. Anyone have an idea where I should start looking? Fuel problem?

have you checked the fuel filter? injectors? do you mean it hesitates like, when cranking? most hondas (and my 5th gen) go something like crank-crank-crank-start. sometimes mine takes an extra crank but it always fires up. sometimes it does, sometimes it doesnt. when its already been warmed up, it fires after 3 cranks no problem.

I have the same problem with my 98 Base Lude. I recently just got my car, and I went back to the previous owner and told him about it. While he said he had no problems, he said when he leased it new from the dealership, they told him to turn on the electronics (2nd click with the ignition), then wait for most of the lights go off. He said that's supposed to turn on the engine or something. Frankly, I have no idea what he's talking about, and its annoying to have to wait, but it seems to work
