So I did my first track event ever!
Was amazing fun, definetely well worth it,

Learned so much,
was very impressed with how well the car did,
and it suprized a few porsche guys as well, hehe.

I now know that my brakes are utterly fucked though,
and the cooling system isn't up to snuff

anyhow, heres the pics.
mine is the hatch with a multicolor rear end(new paint job soon ,hehe).

sweet cars...off topic though, i've never seen under the hood of a bimmer before. now i'm curious, is that ram air between the headlights? ehhh, i'm kinda sleep deprived.

I wouldn't call it "ram air", but, that is where the air induction is, yes.

This one looks like an aftermarket piece though.

That intake is made by Gruppe M.

 

Although the regular E46 M3 does have a plastic intake that is rougher, but the same idea.

with better tires, and definetely better brekes,
I think I could pass up some of those porsche guys.

sucks to have to lift, then coast for a while before starting to brake
