will del sol seats fit in a 89 si hatch?
Well the way i did it was like this. (from the drivers seat perspective) The left side will line up and you can use the regular bolts. You have to make a metal bracket about 5" long and drill a hole at each end. one hole lines up with the original bolt and the other one lines up with the bracket. (Put a bolt and a nut on that end to secure the bracket.) Next youll have to drill a hole in the floor and then make a stack of some sort, about 3" tall. I used a solid threaded spacer and a bolt about 5" long, along with some washers. Then use a nut and some washers to secure the bolt that now extends about 1" from the bottom of your car. Thats about it. It took me about 2 hrs. a seat, and once in, they fit well. I got into an accident with that car...rear ended me: 0mph her: 35 mph. The seats held up just fine, and are sitting in my den as we speak... $150+ shipping for the pair.
