D16 CRX
How is this for a direct replacement into my 87 si crx. I want to keep the turbo D series going.
ZC DOHC
D15b jdm
d16
out of those what more than likely can be had the cheapest and the eaist swap.

d16a1. it's like the dohc zc, but it's not exactly the same. it's out of the 86-89 integra. Assuming you have a donor car to steal the knuckles and axles and stuff like that from, it's a direct swap. you're lucky you have an si. hold on, i'll find you a link.
your problem is even though you have a d series, its mounts are different than later d series engines.

Hey man thanks a lot for your time and articles. The more i read the more i like the B16 vtec swap into the hatch. I will be turbo'ing the car and b16 seems to like a little boost.
