I was wondering if anyone makes a catback exhaust system for my car that is 70mm, or something around 2 3/4 inches. I drive a 00 civic ex coupe. I was thinking of doing a 2.5 inch exhaust, but I wanna let the turbo breathe a little more. yeah, and... 3 in. is not an option. Any info would be helpful. Oh yeah, btw. I'm only pushing 7-8 lbs. if that matters any.

with turbo you want to run a 3" or bigger exhaust.

I don't want 3" or bigger cause I need the clearance. Anyways, I was thinking that maybe I should do a 2.5" exhaust with an exhaust cutout. I was just thinking that it was another route to go since I drive my car daily and am usually in vac and at low rpms. Seriously, what do you guys think would be best between the 70mm exhaust and the 2.5" with the cutout.

 

well it sounds like you have your mind made up allready.

if you worry about clearences with 3" exhaust, well you shouldn't. I have 4" exhaust in my civic and I know other people that have 3" and bigger. and yes its over the rear axle, not under.
