I need good local directions to the event site at Grissom in Peru Ind.

Very easy.

I would assume that you are coming from I70 towards Indy. When you get to Indy, take I465 North. Follow that for about 10-15 miles to the Meridian St. exit. Go north. Meridian St. is SR31. Grissom is about 60 miles north of Indy and about 15 miles north of Kokomo on SR31. Grissom is on the left side of the road. Enter where the water tower is then take your first right. You can't miss it from there.

 

Whatever way you come, Grissom is right off of Rt. 31. You turn in at the watertower. This will be pretty obvious. It is right across the street from a little restaurant called "Ugalde's".

 

Holy crap! It is hot as hell out there!

We ran a Fort Wayne Region local event yesterday at Grissom and when we were leaving at close to 6pm the temperature was still 90deg. Bring PLENTY of water, Gatorade and ice.

The weatherman says it should rain this week. Hopefully, that will cool things down a bit.

 

Just look for the flattest part in the state of Indiana, it should be easy

 

Weather is actually looking quite spectacular for this weekend. It has cooled off quite a bit. Should be in the low to mid 80's and nice all weekend.
