DIST.TRIPPING?

when i put the dist.stock the car wont start.but when i put the msd 6a it will start right up?help??????????????????????????????????????????

What car, do you have no spark/weak spark? I don't remember what a msd 6a includes for a honda, but if it works and the stock doesn't coil or igniter would be a good starting place.
