Something is wrong with my car

All the the sudden my tranny feels like its failing. When I hit the gas it stalls for a second then revs. It only really does it in 2nd and 3rd. Anyone else have this problem? What could it be? I have an 01 i-4 auto with about 38,000 miles if that helps.

The same thing happened when I had my 02 sedan, Honda ended up having to replace it. Certain Accord trannies aren't necessarily the most bulletproof.

Has it been serviced? Take it to the dealer if it's a USDM car, and have it checked out.

I just took my 01 Accord in to Honda and they replaced the transmission under warranty. Take it in and see what they say.

They are booked solid today and dont have any time to look at it. Im nervous because im going back up to school tomorrow (about a 285 mile trip). Do you think my car can hold up? It just started doing this last night and im not going to drive it at all today. Thanks for the input.
