sit down and look at your car to see what you like and don't like about it. don't look at other people's cars unless you want something just like other people's cars.

just curious, that's not the 2000 civic si in your sig, is it? because this is the 88-91 civic forum. not saying you're not welcome here or anything, but a lot of people here don't know as much about the newer cars as they do in the newer car forum.

Depends on what your after.
If you plan to go fast, buy a motor first. (that is if your not going turbo)
That's the rule that people always said to me, but I never listened, but I finally learned my lesson.
Make your car fast first, then make it look good. Unless your that kind of person that prefers having a nicer looking car than a faster one.
My EK made me learn that lesson. Carbon fiber, blah blah blah. Then I noticed, my car was still slow as ****...and I wasn't happy with it at all.
Now I parted out my EK to stock, and planning to drop a motor in my rex FIRST, before any visual modifications...But that's just me. Alot of people would probably disagree with my thinking, but I personally feel that way.

Yeah and I hope your not talking about your EM1.
