Default oem battery

how often do you have to replace the battery? ive had the same battery for 4 years that came stock when i bought the car new in 2001.

what are some common signs of the battery going out or needing a replacement? can you take it to an autozone or something for them to check and charge it or should i just buy a new one?

places like autozone, kragen and pepboys do free battery tests. check you owners manual to see the suggested life of your battery. if you have a check window on your battery, take a look at it. if its still green, your still good.

I still have the original battery in my 01 also. I just check the green eye more often.
