Default Swap question

I want to do a simple swap, just a 99-00 Si swap into my EG dx. I know I need to wire for v-tec but could I just grab the ecu get a p28 or what? I'm just gonna run the auto tranny so yeah. Kinda homo-ish but I'm lazy and about to go into the ARMY and I'l be doing a bit of traveling with hella traffic so the auto stays until I can afford my lude. I know it's wrong to ask this in this forum but which trim on the ludes are dohc v-tec? Let the flames and answers begin.

Off the bat i don't think b-series has a good auto tranny... only the crv and integra

if you have a d series it can't bolt on the b block.

The Si auto tranny sucks? So should I just go with a EG Si swap with the auto tranny. I want to do the auto-manual conversion but it's a big task and I'm not floating with a crap load of time. Any ecu answers?
