Recently bought a used '02 CRV EX Model. Went to go pick it up, and it wouldn't shift out of park. A fuse was blown ( i think labelled "HORN/STOP"). Changed it and shifting was fine.

About a week later (today), returning from the mall it did it again. Stuck in park and won't shift out. I checked the same fuse and it was blown again. I changed the fuse again and again it worked.

Any idea what this could be??

P.S. The fuse was a 15A fuse, changed it to a 20A fuse today.

Please, any help would be great.

wrong place...

And never replace a fuse with a higher Amperage rating... Take it out immediatly.

 

did you have the notice for the shifter cable recall? i kno my 03 had the throttle and shifter cable replaced because of a recall.
