yesterday, i decided to clean my engine bay. it was so dirty, you wouldn't believe it. well, i bought the car that way. it seems the old owner never took care of the car. to make a long story short, i hosed down the entire engine bay, sprayed brake cleaner all over the place, and rinsed it out good. the results turned out great!! only bad part was when i was scrubbing some of the dirtier areas, it took the paint right off!! WTFFFFF, i'm so sad now ;(

what i want to know: is brake cleaner so strong, it can take the paint right off?
