Default can u switch water hoses?

in the pic above, the two water hoses, one on the main water line and the one below it, they are both in a u bend shape. could i move those around and still be okay?

the hoses are attatched from left to right , can i attatched them from top to bottom
instead of having them connected from left to right? they both have water going through them.

would that be okay?

i'm having some clearance issues with some stuff and i was just wondering if i could do that.

i dont see that it would create a problem , so i would say why not..i didnt have clearance issues with mine so i kept it stock..but i dont think it would make a difference as long as the tubes kept the coolant flowing
