Default WHEELS: What you guys think?

In my constant search for wheels I have stumbled across a pretty good deal. Looking to see what you guys think about them. I would probably rock them without the centercap. The information I got for them is that they are 15x6.5 and they are 12.5 lbs (not 16 lbs like I stated before) a piece. I found them on wheelnext.com for $500 shipped for all 4 wheels and 4 195/50/15 hankook HRII 405 tires.

The price on the wheels is good but they are 15x6.5 and they are 16lbs. That is pretty much the same weight as a stock 15" alloy wheel, whether its an "LS mesh," "fat 5," or "GSR Blade." Might as well get a set of Buddy Clubs for around the same price.

They look worthy, but weigh a bit too heavy for my tastes, especially if they're only 6.5" wide.

i was lookin at a set of buddy clubs. two reasons ive been lookin at other wheels is because no one can get the gunmetal p1 racing SF also these wheels come with tires for $500 shipped and the buddy clubs are about $440 shipped just for the wheels.

this is exactly my problem with them... i wish they were a tad bit lighter than 16lbs or if they would be 7" wide...

Yeah but you are getting Hankook tires. I wouldn't rock those because they are just regular *** tires. Honestly, your car is only as good as its tires and you need something like Toyo, Yokohama, Bridgestone, Falken, etc.

i was going to put hankook ventus r-s2s on the buddy clubs, they are comparable, if not better, than falken azenis...

Or you could get Rotas for ~$350.. which also weigh 13/14 lbs, and the money you saved could get (better) tires. But those are nice and I would pay $500 for them.

So much misinformation about Rotas in this thread

If you want the cheapest price for rotas go here: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=697937

some 15x6.5 wheels for as low as 380 a set! (plus 50 fo shipping)

And to the person putting down Hankook tires... have you done any research? or did you just buy their economy tires and then not like their performance Hankook does make some very good tires.
