i got to the point of unwreching the the plug got it lossend and then i couldnt get it out i was just using a 16mm socket. but yea i cant get it out like it wont lift up .should i just buy a socket with the rubber in it or what ?

 

i usually use like a deep welled 8mm socket that just fits over the top and kinda turn it a little to pull the socket out

 

uaing that socket wihtt he rubber inside helps out so much i recomend using it..

 

The rubber piece inside the socket basically ensures that you don't crack the porcelain on the spark plug...if you do, good luck. I would say buy one as they are not that expensive and you will use it a lot, its better to have the right tools for the job instead of making do.

 

what i did when i didn't have the right socket, i would loosen the plug and then use needle nose pliers to pick out the spark plug.

just get the correct socket, it shouldn't cost more than $5.00.
