Great car my roomate just sold his. But the problem with these cars are the resale value. It sucks in fact its really sad. But a 99si is in same condition is worth more money. Why?

I have a few questions:

1) Tornado sound system - that doesn't exist. The Monsoon sound system is what comes in those cars.

2) Its not governed to 132mph in 6th gear @ 3000rpms. They top out at 160-165ish and not in 6th gear, which is a double overdrive.

3) Why are you using pictures from http://www.highresautoimages.com? Have any pictures of the car itself?

1) Tornado is what is listed as the premium sound system by Chevrolet

2) I've topped it out twice and theres no way in hell they hit 160+ in 5th. i drive this STOCK vehicle every day, i know the limitations of its speed from EXPERIENCE.

3) i have no "good" pics of the car itself..since they will look identical to the ones posted except with my driveway and house in the background and my personal license plate BUT ill take the time to get pics for serious inquirers.

i beleive resale value will rise significantly if gm decides not to release the new 06' model. after looking @ the national gas price average i think chevy will decide to have the vette as its major low fuel economy vehicle and drop the camaro indefinatly.

i have not pin pointed an exact price for the vehicle since me and my father have decided to replace the worn interior/exterior items pre-sale, which include:
- oem carpet
- oem center console
- oem radio *****
- oem pass. cup holder
- oem seats
- oem rear tail lights
- oem REAL leather shift boot & bracket

$18500 seams to be the going rate for camaro's in this condition & realative low milege in arizona. for the record this vehicle comes w/ 100% documentation of the service it has ONLY received @ Chapman Chevrolet.
new replaced drivetrain parts include:
- oem rotors & pads (all 4 corners)
- oem thermostat & sensor
- oem water pump
- oem serp. belt
- oem starter
- oem torque mounts & rod (tranny)

this car has had very little mechanical problems (*knocks on wood*) that are associated with the t56 and the ls1. ive been a extremely happy customer with the cars behavior.

IM NOT GONNA LIE, THIS BITCH FEELS LIKE IT NEEDS A NEW CLUTCH. whenever i switch from my ACT 6puck, hd pressure plate & 8lb flywheel (crx) to the 60k mile old stock unit (ss) i almost stall...but im picky and i hate mush.

if anyone is curious my crx would walk the ss from a dig & from a roll. so its time to sell the teacher for the student has surpassed its predicessor.
