Y1 = stock SiR, crappy 4.266 final drive
S1/J1 = 90-91 XSi/RSi, same gearing as ITR
YS1 = 92-93 XSi/RSI, slightly shorter 1st and 5th than S1/J1
90-91 USDM tegs also had a S1 but with the LS gearing, and the 92-93 all have a YS1. There's one with the LS gearing and I have no clue what the 92-93 GSR gearing is. Maybe it's the same as the 92-93 XSi/RSi, maybe it's the same as the S1/J1. Dunno.
[edit] I don't really like the Y1 ratios for an n/a motor. For turbo it looks pretty nice on paper.

I've driven 820 miles (Wisconsin to Maryland) twice in my '92 GSR. 80 mph is about 4600 rpm, so I'm guessing the gearing is either the same as the JDM YS1 or S1. Averaged around 33 mpg.
I just bought a S1 tranny today.. What starter do i use with it.. guy i bought it off of doest seem to have one. I was thinking usdm 90-91 integra starter maybe... Thanks to whoever responds.
