And, on one of the Improved Touring forums somebody posted some calcs they filched from one of my posts without any citation of the source - shame on you.
Scott, who now feels his cage is extremely unimaginative and lame......I'm just amazed at what you can apparently do with 100 square inches.....I never thought you could do that!......

I've seen the pics before. Pretty amazing work! Seeing them again just reinforces how 'ghetto' the RNR Racing car truly is. What the hell....we are still having fun!

two 5x5 squares on each end connected by a piece 25x2 is 100 sq inches.
HOWEVER, make sure you read the NASA rules. Cage design and philosophy is slightly different than SCCA.
