88 dx zc dohc - UP FOR THE CHALLENGE?
Aite, anyone up for this challenge? My car still won't start when it is warm out. I have no problems starting it in the mornings or in the eveneings. Oh, it will start in the day if I jump it with another car. It starts everytime when I do it that way. But this is what it does when it doesn't start during the day. The fuel pump primes, the starter clicks to engage, and the main relay clicks as well. Hope this little bit of info helps.
So here's what I have done. I got a new battery because I thought it was the battery due to being able to start by jumping. I tested the starter at AutoZone and all tests confirmed PASSED. I checked my main relay and resoldered the dry joint based on info provided by this site (and yes it was the exact same point as provided by the site, very useful info but not the cause to my problem):

I changed the power cable connecting to the battery, power cable to fuse box under hood, and power cable to starter. Neg battery cable is perfectly fine, no corrosion and did not change. Can't be the alternator because the car keeps its charge. I have been driving it at night just too keep it going and not have it sit for serveral months.
Well I'm running out of ideas and if any of you wants to take the challenge to and give me some suggestions of what to check next, then feel free to step up to the plate and swing away!!!
I'm running out of ideas and available posts to read. I'm not getting anywhere, literally!!!
Thanks to all in advance!
