I will be adding jdm itr pistons and doing a overhaul on my b18c1. I am keeping everything else stock engine wise exept cia and jdm 98 spec itr header and exhaust. My question is what head gasket thickness to use, 1 layer is 12:1, two layer is 11.67:1. Keeping in mind the fuel system is stock exept for a adjustable fpr, and the 93 and 94 octain is pretty good around here. This is my auto-x car and occaisional daily driver in the summer. Any imput is apprieciated.

thats a cool site, i have my compressions figured out based on my budget, 11:6 to one or 12:1 are my options, can I do 12:1 with just a fpr and 94 octain?

 

just keep in mind that thinner head gaskets do tend to leak.
