I am burning oil like crazy! Checked oil the other day and I had hardly any. Im not even supposed to get it changed until August 3. I put 2 quarts in it just to see what it would do, checked it the next day and again barely any oil left! What could be causing this? I know there arent any leaks either.

 

to burn 2qts in a day would be horrific...there must be a leak somewhere...if car was burning 2qts a day, it would smoke like a train...not sure, but def take it to a shop for a hefty tune up...

Pretty much every lude burns oil. . i dunno about 2 quarts . mine burns oil but it seems to only burn it in vtec. if im running hard for a while it will burn some but if i just drive normal like daily drivin im fine. how hard are you running your car? what year? how many miles? did it just start out of no where or did you just buy the car? how bad dose it smoke? any signs of oil under your parked car? all these facts are good to know and post

Your car doesn't burn 2 qts/day... you just let it fall down so dangerously low that it took two quarts to fill it up. Also, the dipstick isn't always very accurate, make sure you measure with your engine cooled off, and take several readings.

Check for leaks, stains on your engine anywhere... and the smoke. My prelude burns around 1 quart every 2-3 months depending on how I drive, and there are no leaks and no smoke at all

Also, if your engine has oil burning problems, I'd strongly recommend you measure your oil much more *often*.
