Bro i was drivin my car from my school, and there was about a foot of water in the parkin lot, and i noticed my car was drivin super weird, like it was jerking a few times (while it was near the water) after i got out of there it was drivin fine.. i drove it now again, and it drives fine. how can i make sure there isnt gonna be a problem of rust or anything?

 

well, hopefully you didn't suck any of that water up...if so, you probably bent some valves, rods, ring lands, and stuff of that general nature...when you say jerk, do you mean the engine cut in and out, or what?

Most likely, you've a set of ignition wires/dist cap which doesn't like moisture. You can test for this with a spritzing bottle of water. Spray the wires while the engines running (on a warm dry day); if any of the wires are pourous, the engine will start skipping; if not, you're ok
