Need some opinions on cams
I'm looking for cams and I want to know what some of you think. I'm sticking to nothing more than stage one because I don't have the money to upgrade the entire head. I am trying to choose between itr, skunk 2, or blox. If anyone might be able to tell me some of the H/P differences I would appreciate that also. Thanks.
HP differences are on the skunk2 website
I support the Skunk2 Stage1 cams.
Stage 2 are a little too aggressive for joe-shmoe.
Stage 3 are for engines with extensive modification.

dont skunk2 cams, like everything else made by skunk2 (coil springs, valve springs, camber arms, you name it...), have issues of breaking during use?
i have heard good and bad things about skunk2's
i would go with the itr's, at least you kno there wont be a problem with them and they give you a good gain in hp

Yes they will but i would reccomend ITR srpings and retainers too.

I have a B16 with skunk2 intake manifold, jacobs ignition, short ram intake, dc sport header 4-1, exhaust, venom 400, walbro255lph fuel pump, and i am considering a chipped ecu along with the new cams, but like i said I have to start saving for school so if i have to upgrade the springs also maybe this will be too expensive for me anyway
look for ctr. the intake cam is more agressive. youre probably losing power with that manifold and stock cams. if you chip your ecu, move your vtec point up to like 54-5600. big difference.
