what do u think about a new clutch? i mean if i drive normal it never happens...but if im messin around every now n then it will happen when i hit vtec n ride out first but doesnt do it all the time...i know its not major n it just a honda thing for the s2000 but i was just wondering if there was anyway to solve
the grinding is caused by the honda synchoniser and the selector collar not by the gears per se.
It often happen at high rpm. It's the inherent problem in our gearbox/synchoniser design. It helps with gm or redline fluid but if it gets very bad you will need to order new synchro.
Alternatively you can get a dogbox and you will not have to face this problem or gear failure. This is not cheap or readily available solution though.

Have you tried calling a local transmission shop for the synchro??? If they have it, most likely it would be cheaper than OEM.
