Default B20 Prelude Crank

Someone is trying to sell me a crank from a old school Prelude that came with the B20 motor. Now i know that i can put that crank in my GSR block; however, is the stroke on this crank bigger than the stroke of a LS crank? I know they say these cranks are weak, but if its a bigger stroke i would not mind getting some crank work done to make it stronger.

Are you talking about the 95mm b20a crank?

Ok i figured out that the crank is 95mm and a LS crank is 89mm. So its deffinatly a bigger crank.

But what are everyone thoughts on this crank?

well, by using that crank, you will loose your ability to rev as high, as the b20 cranks arent balanced like the gsr are.

you also have to change your thrust washer location. and if youre gonna spend money to make it stronger, it might just be more worthwhile to buy an aftermarket 95mm crank designed for your engine.

Theyve been in 300+WHP motors running deep into the 10's, I dont see why they wouldnt be ok for a street car

What is the weak point of the crank, why people say u have to make it stronger. What breaks?
