I went to the dealership today to sit on one and I must say that it's a nice bike. The salesman said that the bike was $8599.00 OTD. The reason I'm asking for opinions is that I now have a couple of more people intrested in my bike. I have not put it up for sale or said it was for sale, but my friends and one of my uncle's is very intrested. If I sell it I'll let it go for $3500.00. I'll use that money for a down payment what do you guys think?

Yeah. I know I can get more out of it cause I see them going for $4500-4800 here in phoenix, but it's been dropped a couple of times by the previous owner. If I do sell it though I'm going to ask for $4000.00.

 

Is that the 600cc or the 636cc? I get those confused. From what I've read.. the 600 is sprung too stiff and unless you're on glass smooth track surfaces, little ripples during corners will upset the front and make you go wide. The 65 series front tires should be replaced w/70 series for higher grip. It's more bred for AMA sanctioned competitive use where the 636 is not allowed due to the higher capacity. That being said, the 636 is probably the one to get. More poke. But then again, I heard the 600 goes bonkers on a dyno w/a powercommander and a pipe.

 

Well the RR is the 600 the R is the 636, the one I was looking at is the 636.

 

Either way, they're both Kawasuckies I think the 636 rocks. Too back the windscreen sucks *****. Oh btw, if you get one, be sure to order the OEM Euro-spec front turn signals.

Whatever scarey and you have a yummyha, lol. Well they have like 5 of them in the show room. All different colors but i'm kinda leaning towards the orange one.

If you're not satisfied with your F4i, go ahead. Every 600 out there has something different to offer, it depends what you like.

The 636 is pretty competitive: it looks good and it's fast as hell. Unless you're a really experienced dude, though (or the 636 just looks that much sexier to you), I'd stick with your bike. Are you really going to enjoy the 636 enough to spend an extra 5 grand?

Don't listen to me, though, I dumped my SV 650 for a squid-mobile 600 after 8 months.

F a 636...I loved your RR.

 

I sat on an 05 636 and liked it alot.I felt it was a huge improvement over the 03-04 model.The one thing that I hated the second I sat on the bike was it's retarded windscreen! Wgat the hell were they thinking?

Well I went to pull some numbers yesterday with the sales guy and he tried to tax me like an sob with a trade in, I just told him that I would be back when I sold my bike that way I could put down cash money. It's kinda hard not to want the bike though, I mean I can look out my window and see that bike looking back at me. That's how close the dealership is.

My boss has an 05 636. It's a bit larger and slightly less comfortable than the 05 rr to me. The ex-racer sales guy that sold us both says the rr handles better. He had an 04 rr.

 

The new zx6r performs really well, but I think its just so damn ugly.

I think the bike looks great, I just don't know what I really want . For sure I'm not getting a GSX-R I just don't fel comfortable on them, so my choice is between the ZX-6R or a CBR600RR.

 

In riding the new zx6r, you'll like it, its definetly the "hype" bike for this year, I went with the new ZZR for comfort reasons, but the colors are amazing on that bike :-) go sit on them!

If so, that is ugly...

Where does the vent go?

 

The vent in the centre goes through the frame and into the airbox,similar to that of the Honda RC51.Until I saw Kawi using this design,I always though Honda had a patent on that design.PS the windscreen is a crap design because you basically have to look through the outsideside of it and down,to see the gauges.Yuck

Yup, ill take the RR anyday of the week.

 

The RR has a WAY better fit and finish than the ZX-6R in my opinion.The 05 Kawi's F&F isn't that bad,but the 03-04 makes me wonder if they got tired halfway through the build and said fuckit..LOL Get the RR.You won't be dissapointed.

Well I thought about all the hype for the ZX6R and the CBR 600RR and decide on a Gixxer 750. Its quicker than any 600 i got 150 more CC and the 05 Gixxers are HAWT!!!! So who wants to meet me at the drag strip. Just got my power commander and my Hotbodies Undertail Exhaust. Come on honduhs you been playing catchup to the zuki's for the last 5 years think you can catch up or what. Just joking guys keep up the threads
