Default Weird 57mm piston caliper that fits on 10.2" discs

I went to my local junkjard/importer and bought some civic ex knuckles with 10.2" discs, I traded the stock calipers for come that said PRELUDE on them and where installed on a knuckle that also had 10.2" rotors.

These calipers I got are 57mm on the outside bore of the piston, which is the same as ITR I believe and bolted perfectly to the civic ex knuckle. what kind of weird **** is this??

TIA
