Default Koni full adjustable kit

I've been looking into a new suspension setup for my 96 hatch for a while now and thinking about going with koni/gc.
But i went to a local shop yesterday and he offered me a used KONI Ride Height Adjustable Kit for a very very good price.
I would like to know if this is a good setup since i cant find a lot of info about it.

Main question is: would this be better than a koni/gc setup?

Thanks.

The difference would mainly be the spring rates, plus the new 1150 coil-over kit dampers are now chrome bodies. Functionally, the GC kit allows you the opportunity to change or select your spring rates. The Koni kit has specially made progressive rate lowering springs that are lower in spring rate than what many use with their GC sleeves.

The design of the Koni coil-over kit is to allow a large range of ride heights while maintaining a good street ride quality good overall handling but it is not meant to be specifically used for racing, be the ultimate for track events, etc.

You can change the springs yourself but the kit does not have multiple spring options from Koni. If you re wanting to go with a pretty aggressive spring rate, you may as well skip the kit and get the Koni Sports and GC sleeve and kit program as you would not be using the springs that come with and you pay for in the kit.

Ok i'm payin about $500/550 for the kit, so paying for new springs isnt such a big problem.... would it come close to a koni/gc setup when i would change the springs to a more aggressive rate?
Would the shocks be able to handle this?

koni yellows alone are 500 dollars.

I know the koni's are about $500,-

But i can get the full adjustable koni kit for just a little less more. If i can just change the springs and get about the same results as a koni/gc combination i'm getting this.
So thats actually the main question here now.

If anyone knows this (crxlee) i would really like to know!!!

thanks

You will get similar effects as the Koni Sport/ GC set-up if you use the Koni 1150 coil-over kit dampers and change spring rates. The valvings are the same between them.
