Default Car will not go into gear

Hey guys, i have a problem.. I just installed a new clutch(throw out bearing & Pilot bearing) and I am unable to put the car in gear when it's running. Also, there is a random knocking sound coming from the tranny.
any idea whats wrong?
-btw.. ls transmission, action clutch, cable trans.

one of the bearings in backwards? do you have pedal pressure? if not then i'd say it's a bearing issue.

this is the first thing that came to my head.....hth..............

The bearings aren't in backwards, I have peddle pressure but it does seem wierd ( probably because its aftermarket) ... i guess i'll have to drop the trans and check it out

You got the cable adjusted right? Have someone push the clutch in and see if the clutch arm will move up even more when the pedal is depressed.

well i re-re-adjusted the clutch and i think it might have fixed it... except now my car cranks slower, floods, and barely starts..then dies in a few seconds. Is this because the clutch was so far off that it wasnt spining all that extra weight?

`btw i DO feel stupid for missing such a small problem
