Default cams in my jdm B18C

I have Crower 403 cams, springs and retainers from my 2001 gsr. My question is, are these useable on the type r motor. Is it worth it, or should I just leave it alone. Reason I ask is they are practically brand new, havent been able to sell, Also, got Kenji ecu and harness for car. That will give 9100 redline on my stock valvetrain. I already didnt have luck with gsr motor, dropped valve within 2 weeks. I think performance shop did faulty install. What would all of you do.

Or maybe just use springs and retainers with stock valves and cams to increase redline.

yeah you could definitely transfer them over to a type R motor. I believe all DOHC Vtec cams are interchangeable on any b-series vtec head.

how was the p28 ecu with your gsr? Any problems with the intake manifold not switching on the secondaries?

I used stock ecu when these were installed on my gsr. Did not get a chance to get new one for set up because motor went bye-bye. I just read an awsome thread in regards to valvetrains and cams, it seems that my stock valvetrain on type r can handle 9100 redline. Can someone clarify this whos actually done it. I cant afford to blow this motor and want to set it up so I can autox and drive the **** out of it. Autox I get stuck in 2nd gear and rev the **** out of the motor on those tight courses.
