*Dont really know if this is the right place for this but here we go*

After installing the S2000 antenna (actually the Shark Attack II but watev), ive noticed a number of weird electrical problems. Just wondering if anyone else ran into similar problems as mine:

-The warning beeper when u leave the lights on/keys in ignition after the car is off doesnt work anymore.
-The first setting on the windsheild wipers doesnt work (the other two speeds do and so does the rear).
-The dome light doesnt work (could be bulb but kinda doubt it since it had worked before).

If anyone has had similar experience with these problems please help me out. None of the problems are major but im just worried there may be other things that dont work that i havent found out about. Thanks for ure help.

 

I say undo what you did and restart. You might see something you messed up. I did one a long time ago and can't see how you would connect a wrong wire.

 

did you check fuses also? I can't imagine a fuse would effect the wiper thing, but it might the other two. I have the antenna, but haven't had any problems like these.

 

Sounds like you blew a fuse, homie.

 

Well to be exact: i connected the white wire w/ red stripe from the car to the red wire of the antenna. I taped off the green and black wires to make sure they didnt short out anything. And finally plugged the big jack in. Ill check fuses but the thought that all those fuses blew from just that seems strange.

 

Had the same problem the other day. Look at the fuse box under the hood, the fuse that says "interior light" has probably blown.
