Are my 96-98 CTR Headlights real? Please help, lots of pics...
Long story short...
- When I got them, they had a leak that messed up the origional ctr inner housing dark gunmetal paint.
- I opened up the headlights, resprayed as best I could to look like the same color, but not chromish any more, and resealed them perfectly.
- Now I'm selling them and I'm having a hard time because I'm not sure if they are truely real or not.

Had no choice, the water leakage problem they had when I got them caused the oem paint to fade off in certain sections... Can't have one unpainted and one painted headlight, so I went the color match method. At least everything is fixed now so I don't have to worry about this paint coming off, well, if I was still keeping them. But thanks, I feel better now, I get to take off the "not sure if their real", from my fs post.

probably is, the housing isn't reflective dark chrome but something like flat gray, and it's not hard to paint the housing, they may be sir painted
they were real until the paint....only because if someone buys those they are going for the "Authenic JDM" look and that is now gone..... but to answer the question i do believe they are real.....
