Good deal? set of kosei k1 15x7 and victoracers used for 2 roadraces for $700. Tires have been heat cycled he said

Found a guy locally sellign these items

he says the rims are in really excellent shape and that the victoracers have only been used for 2 roadraces on his Si and have been heat cycled

is this worth 700? I really dont know much about tires, but i have been in the market to buying these rims.

Anything i should look for before buying these? Im gonna go check them out in person this weekend. what should i look for? how do i know if the tires are still good?

Well, I personally would not pay more than $25/piece for used Kumhos, unless they have less than 3 autoxs on them.

If the Kumhos have a blue ring around the outside, no matter how much tread is showing, they are probably beyond their good usable grip point. If this is the case, point out to the guy that you are doing him a favor by taking the tires from him.
