[pic request] your lowered civic + some questions
hello
i want to lower my civic after i get some new wheels... however, i would rather just replace the springs. if i got some eibachs ~$200 would i have to upgrade my shocks also? or could i leave the stock ones in?
with that said, could i request some pictures of your drop + info (brand, how much it was dropped, cost?)
thanks

i have kyb AGX adj struts with H&R springs. its hammered. rides rough. scrapes and rubs anything in its path. im lookin into a new system to upgrade to. to answer your question, you do not have to change your struts but everyone is goin to recommend it including myself. shell out teh cash and upgrade to a decent strut at the time of spring install to save money on the install.

Koni Sport (yellow) dampers
GC coilovers with custom spring rates (with front and rear springs the same height for interchangability)
However I did not get this setup to look good, I spent the $ because I autocross

You get what you pay for in most cases. In the import world, looks are decieving. You can run Drop Zone springs and Kragen gas shocks. Life Time Warranty

i have eibach sportlines on my oem shocks right now. if you just want to lower your car and not spend a ton on suspention, they're probably the way to go. it actually rides really nice compared to other cars i've been in with lowering springs. it rides and handles a lot like stock.
however, i'd say save the $200 and get a better set up, or use them with an aftermarket shock. the only reason i have these is because they were on the car when i bought it.
