Got a 1996 accord, LX with the Inline-4. I am under the impression it is the 5th gen accord (94-97 i think) with the h-22 engine. Is this correct?

English???? 5th Gen USDM accords all came with the inline 4 F22's. From 96-97 There was also an optional V6. The H22 is an aftermarket upgrade. I think 5 Gen JDM Accords ran the F20B &lt;correct me if im wrong&gt;??? The H22A is just an aftermarket swap for the Accord unless your somewhere overseas.

No...it is not correct.

 

Yea i was wrong the 5th Gen SiR did run the H22A.

 

haha no, i have not swapped the engine. thanks a ton for the help
