jdm bumper pole half switch ??
it mounts on the center console by the e-brake, in one of the empty slots in our US. cars.
It's meant to control the bumper pole,. which the japanese cars have. I believe they put the pole up to see where their bumpers are when parking in tight spaces.
It could be useful to some drivers here in the states, but, mostly a bling factor.

Doesnt mean you cant mount the pole on the other side of the bumper
and yes what you said is correct dude. Its either a BUMPER POLE switch or a HALF ANTENNA switch not both

Sorry to bump this thread back up but today I got me an extra half antenna switch for use as a project on my car. Thing is it didnt come with the plastic pig tail plug and I was wondering if anyone knows where I can get the plug from somewhere else? Like say a climate control unit plug might fit it or something??
If not I guess I can solder the ends but does anyone know which one I should use? Like which leg to solder and what not?
Thanks
