taking off side door trim

Default taking off side door trim

i have a 97 civic, and i want to get the trim off to paint it to match the color of my car. but i dont want to break off the clips or anything, so what is the easiest and best way to get the trim off? thanks. also, what would it cost to get new valve seals if i bring it in?

get behind the panel and squeeze the clip toether, they will pop right out

behind the panel as in, from the inside of the car? so if i remove the inside panel i should be able to get to it right?
