Default Purge cut off and dashpot

When I put the y8 intake and fuel rail on my d15b2, I ended up using the y8's map sensor and disconecting the dx map and purge cut off (also removed the canister). On the y8, there is what I think a dashpot sensor/valve mounted on the fuel rail. One end of it goes to the intake, the other is just capped off.

So my question... Can I live without these being hooked up? My pm6 is not throwing any codes and everything seems to be fine.
