im having trouble getting the headunit out of my integra, its a 94 and i need to put speaker wires into the back of it. i have a pioneer cd player.

 

It can be a bit tricky the first time you take one out........there are some small pesky screws underneath that are kind of hard to get at. Try these for help:

HU, [the "keys" slide down the sides of the HU] remove the faceplate trim, slide the "keys"down the left and right side of the HU, [that will "unlock" the tabs on the sleave] and if the HU was installed properly there will be a back support of some kind, [normally a "L" bracket of the back of the HU attached to the stock rear support 94

 

My bad..........I read it to quickly, I thought he was trying to get the stock unit out to put in a Pioneer.
