What do you guys think of this?
Im looking into building my own turbo kit for my JDM GSR. Its all stock block. This website seems to have a good step guide to what I need to do. I want to do everything except for im going to use a Hondata S100 w/boost option, and probably RC Engineering 440 injectors.

Thanks for any opinions.

good deal. You started with the basics instead of asking a bunch of questions that have been covered many times.
Stock GSR, stay around 300whp,
ringlands will go first then rods if anything does break.
I had stock boosted GSR w/10psi for over a year no problems. I beat the **** out of it. I have some more links to good **** you should read. I'll post them when I find them.

Alright, thanks man. So 300whp or so is about the limit for a reliable Turbo JDM GSR? From what ive read you tune by HP and not by boost. Once youve hit a certain power output then you should leave it there, no matter how high the boost is. Is that correct? Im just looking for some more power, but its my daily driver so its got to be reliable. I dont mind the extra care with a turbo car, its just got to be reliable.

yea psi doesn't matter, for GSR around 300whp seems to be the mark. Of course there's some who have more and no problems, and there's others who blew up with way less horsepower.
Just remember good engine management. you already mentioned HONDATA so your on the right track.
have you bought a turbo yet? I would highly, highly suggest the gt28rs (disco potato) great powerband for a daily driver.
I have a t3/t4e 57 trim .60 compressor .48 turbine (exhaust side). I used to have a .63 turbine housing but switched it for a smaller one for faster spool cause its more fun as a daily driver. Its awesome but the disco potato would have been better.
I wish I could sell my turbo and get the disco potato.

No, I havent bought any parts for it yet. Ive just been looking around for more power for my GSR and I found that a turbo can be a reliable setup if done right. So right now what Im trying to do is find all of the best parts for my setup and get them. Just so I dont have to go back twice and say oh I should of bought this instead. How much should that turbo run as far as price and whats its efficency range?
