How are APC adjustable coilovers like for a 91 DX hatch, anyone know? I've heard that they are pretty stiff and the ride becomes bouncy, as well as that their ok... Anyone?

 

well first off, APC is crap and coilovers do tend to make yoyur car a bouncy ride because the strut doesnt have much room to move after dropping your car. But I would look for something different then APC.

APC, OBX and SSAUTOChrome are mostly crap

 

One of my friends has APC adjustables in his Civic and he's satisfied with them, dropped the ride like 2-3 inches, looks tough and it wasn't real expensive either, but he does tend to bounce around. I read somewhere though that they are poor in quality, so that is why I decided to ask you guys...

I'm sure people will add more....you GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. I would put APC floormats in my car cause there stuff sucks. Everytime my wife sees a APC sticker she laughs and makes fun of the car.

But seriously, any main reason or fact why APC is really that crappy besides that they manufacture many other parts and accessories including coilovers and springs?

I haven't heard of UGR's before. Any experiences or opinions on these coilovers? Oh yeah and APC still... Just cuious cause like I said already, a good friend has them on with no problems and good looks though!

 

I really like my ugr slip overs there stiff but not bouncy.

 

I ordered some amber corner lights for my EF because both of mine are busted. I paid $20 shipped for them from ebay, and when they got here I found out they were APC.

Interesting. We'll see how the fit is when I get a chance to throw them on.

 

APC doesn't make anything. They are chinese importers.

Whether they make them or not, they sell the simulated disk brakes. How cheap is that.
